Valuable Brass Figurine depicting Amitabha, considered one of the oldest of the Dyani Buddhas, he who represents compassion.
Defined as ‘Infinite Light’, following the many merits that he acquired during his countless lives, thanks to all the good deeds that he accomplished, he lives in the sky Sukavhati, devoid of any tension in a peaceful meditation.
He is related to the color red, representing love and compassion, his messenger is the peacock and his symbol is the lotus flower, emblem of nobility, openness and purity.
He is depicted in the Samadhi Mudra in the act of meditation, with both palms facing upwards, on top of each other to form, with the arms, a circle. He holds the alms bowl, a sign of renunciation.
When shown on the stupa he is always facing the west, side of the setting sun, and then of the red as the color attributed to him.
He is worshiped by his disciples with the hope that through him salvation will be possible.
