Precious Thread of Japanese Coral

Precious Thread made of Japanese Coral with a particular light-red natural shade, typical of the variety of the Elatius Corals that, when less red color tinted, is called Magay.

These Corals are always veined within their own mass – a feature called ‘core’, which appears white if the Coral is red, pink if it is lighter in color – unique characteristic that guarantees the naturalness and authenticity of this amazing marine product.
Material mainly used to create small items and cabochons due to its rarity, it is amazing to find a whole necklace made of this Coral.

Each single piece has a sphere cut, with a slightly imperfect shape, with degrading measures: the centerpiece has a diameter of about 2.5 cm, while the smallest at the ends are almost 1 cm.
The coral of this valuable necklace is extremely well preserved keeping perfectly its consistence.
