Tibetan prayer Mill in sterling Silver – collector’s item

Wonderful Tibetan prayer Mill in sterling Silver consisting of a central cylinder inserted on a Silver handle and closed on the top with a pointed lid. The cylinder, which rotates on the central hub, is completely decorated with golden mantras ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ spaced out with Red Coral pearls.
The two mantras are separated by a Jade disc on which is attached the external weight.
The cylinder can be opened and on the inner part there is the prayers roll, tightly wrapped. In the upper part, decorated with great precision, there are several Corals and Turquoises.
The believer lets the mill roll while constantly repeating the prayer. This practice derives from the ‘Wheel of Doctrine’ that the Buddha set in motion after receiving the Illumination.
